“ I have no complaints each time i got food from here it was well worth my money!! The service is good as well, u order and they make ur food as asked. ”
“ For my cheat day this week I checked G&G out after work at 5pm. Ordered online through storefront doordash. Their website is currently down. Oxtails were out so I got a Jerk Chicken plate, Brown stew chicken plate, beef patties, and Mac and cheese. Service was a little slow when I went in but for more home style cooking I would say it's acceptable. They were polite. The food was good aswell. My only issue was the Mac and cheese quality of pasta used. It looked and felt like the kraft Mac and cheese pasta but seasoned in G&G's way. You get quite a bit of food aswell. Paid around $50 for what you will see in the photos. Ambiance was lowlight and relaxing. ”
“ Ox tail to die for. Owners are so kind and appreciative of their customers. You can taste the love! Give them a shot! ”
“ The food was great! The cabbage could have been slightly more seasoned, but it was still good. Customer service was very friendly and there was a nice vibe to the place if you sat and ate. My sister and I both had Brown stew chicken with rice and peas and a side of cabbage. We also purchased a pound cake that was sweet and moist. I sprinkled hot pepper sauce on my food and didn't know how spicy that sauce was. It packed some heat! Tasty though. ”
“ Started going to Jamaica when "pit Jerk" meant a hole in the ground, pimento wood coals covered with palm tree fronds to cook the pork or chicken. Alas the pimento trees couldn't grow fast enough and heavier spices replaced the pimento wood for flavor. The food here is authentic and very good per my taste. Curry Goat, Ox Tail, Jerk Pork or Chicken or my personal favorites - Brown Stew Chicken and Curry Chicken. Plus a long list of sides. Cabbage or Callaloo or Yellow Rice and many more. Reasonable prices. $12 to $17 on average. Dine in or take out. And if you like a refreshing soda, try Ting. ”
